EXHIBITIONS AT OUR CENTRE
EXHIBITIONS
Exhibition space includes (Main Gallery Room) 5 m x 11 m plus the (Hall Way) (11 m x 2 m) and Front Room (5 m x 5 m) all with 6 m high walls with track lighting (in Main Gallery Room and Front Room) and picture rails.
EXHIBITION FEE: $950 FOR THREE WEEK EXHIBITION plus
30% COMMISSION ON ALL SALES
EXHIBITION FEE COVERS THE FOLLOWING SERVICES WHICH WILL BE PROVIDED BY THE CENTRE:
•Design and printing of 1000 invites including 500 for the artist(s) to distribute
•Distribution of invites to the centres mailing list and to venues such as other art centres, art schools and libraries etc
•Advert in the Western Australian Arts Directory.
•Assistance with writing a press release
•Wine glasses, trestle tables, tablecloths and plynths for the exhibition opening
•A written review of the exhibition by the centre’s curator, if requested.
•Selection and installation of works for the exhibition by the centre’s gallery curator
•Hosting of the opening including an introduction or speech by the centre’s Director
RESPONSIBILITIES OF EXHIBITING ARTIST(S)
•The artist will provide, at least two months before the exhibition opening, an expression of interest including an exhibition statement, CV, six to twelve images of works to be exhibited and proposed dates for the exhibition.
•The artist will provide all fees payable at least six weeks before exhibition opening unless alternative arrangements are made with the centre Director.
•The artist will provide refreshments for the exhibition opening.
•The artist will staff the Gallery from 11am to 3pm on Saturdays during the exhibition and declare any sales made during these periods.
